- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ cup red onion, finely chopped
- 1 large egg

- ½ teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
For Cooking and Serving
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4–6 burger buns
- Tzatziki, for serving

Instructions
- Combine Ingredients: Add the ground turkey, chopped spinach, crumbled feta cheese, minced garlic, finely chopped red onion, egg, breadcrumbs, dried oregano, paprika, salt, and black pepper to a large mixing bowl.
- Mix Carefully: Gently mix all the ingredients until just combined to avoid overworking the meat for tender burgers.
- Form Patties: Divide the mixture into 4 to 6 equal portions and shape each into a round patty.
- Heat Cooking Surface: Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat or prepare your grill by preheating it to medium-high heat.
- Cook Burgers: Place the patties on the skillet or grill and cook for 5 to 6 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) to ensure they are fully cooked.
- Rest Patties: Remove the cooked patties and let them rest for a few minutes to retain juices and enhance flavor.
- Assemble Burgers: Serve the turkey burgers on toasted buns topped with tzatziki sauce and optional tomato and cucumber slices or your preferred burger toppings.
Notes
- If using frozen spinach, squeeze out any excess moisture before mixing.
- Chill the patties in the refrigerator for 15–20 minutes before cooking to help maintain their shape while cooking.
