- 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning

For Serving
- 12 oz spaghetti

Instructions
- Mix Meatball Ingredients: In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper and mix gently to combine without overworking the meat.
- Form Meatballs: Shape the mixture into 16 to 18 uniform meatballs to ensure even cooking.
- Brown Meatballs: Heat a large skillet over medium heat and brown the meatballs on all sides until they develop a crust. Remove meatballs from the skillet and set aside.
- Sauté Onion and Garlic: In the same skillet, add olive oil and sauté diced onion until softened and translucent. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional 30 seconds to release its aroma.
- Add Tomatoes and Seasoning: Stir in the crushed tomatoes and Italian seasoning. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Simmer Meatballs in Sauce: Return the browned meatballs to the skillet with the tomato sauce. Cover and simmer gently for 25 minutes until the meatballs are cooked through and flavors meld.
- Cook Spaghetti: While the meatballs simmer, prepare spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain well.
- Serve: Plate the cooked spaghetti and top with meatballs and sauce. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and extra Parmesan cheese as desired.
Notes
