Instructions
- Heat the Skillet: Warm olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat to prepare for cooking the potatoes.
- Cook Potatoes: Add frozen diced hash browns to the skillet and cook until golden and crispy, about 8–10 minutes. Once done, remove from skillet and set aside.
- Cook Sausage: In the same skillet, add breakfast sausage and cook until browned and fully cooked through. Drain any excess grease from the skillet.
- Prepare Eggs: In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
- Scramble Eggs: Push the cooked sausage to one side of the skillet. Pour in the egg mixture and cook gently, stirring occasionally until eggs are scrambled and fluffy.
- Assemble Bowls: Divide the crispy potatoes, sausage, and scrambled eggs into serving bowls.
- Add Toppings: Top each bowl with shredded cheddar cheese and optional garnishes like sliced green onions and salsa or hot sauce.
