Description
Soft, buttery pull-apart sliders filled with tender lobster and brushed with garlic chive butter for a rich and indulgent seafood treat, perfect as an elegant appetizer or party snack.
Ingredients
Slider Filling
- 300 g cooked lobster meat, chopped
Buns
- 12 slider buns
Garlic Chive Butter
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh chives, chopped
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 180°C (350°F) to ensure it reaches the right temperature for warming the sliders evenly.
- Prepare the buns: Carefully slice the slider buns in half horizontally without separating the halves completely, creating a hinge effect that holds the sliders together.
- Make the garlic chive butter: In a small bowl, combine the melted butter with minced garlic, chopped fresh chives, and lemon juice. Stir well and season with salt and black pepper to your taste.
- Assemble the sliders: Evenly distribute the chopped lobster meat inside each buns’ bottom half. Lightly season the lobster filling with salt and pepper if desired.
- Brush with garlic chive butter: Generously brush the prepared garlic chive butter over the lobster fillings and the inside of the top buns for extra flavor and richness.
- Wrap and bake: Wrap the assembled sliders tightly in aluminum foil to retain moisture and bake them in the preheated oven for 10 to 15 minutes until the lobster is warmed through and the butter is melted and infused.
- Serve immediately: Once baked, carefully unwrap the foil and serve the warm, buttery lobster sliders right away for the best taste experience.
Notes
- Add a light mayonnaise or aioli inside the buns for extra richness if desired.
- Do not overbake to avoid drying out the lobster meat.
- Fresh chives can be substituted with parsley if unavailable, though the flavor will differ slightly.
- Use fresh cooked lobster meat for optimal texture and flavor.
