Description

A restaurant-style salmon dish inspired by Olive Garden, featuring perfectly grilled salmon fillets seasoned with Italian herbs and finished with a light garlic butter glaze. This simple and flavorful recipe is perfect for a healthy, delicious meal at home.

Ingredients

Salmon and Seasoning

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Garlic Butter Glaze

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat Grill: Preheat your grill or a grill pan to medium-high heat to ensure proper searing and cooking of the salmon fillets.
  2. Prepare the Salmon: Brush each salmon fillet with olive oil to prevent sticking and help the seasoning adhere. Season the fillets evenly with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Grill the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets on the grill and cook for 4–5 minutes per side until the fish is fully cooked through and has a nice char on the outside.
  4. Make Garlic Butter Sauce: In a small pan over medium heat, melt the butter and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in the lemon juice to add brightness and acidity.
  5. Finish and Serve: Drizzle the warm garlic butter sauce over the grilled salmon fillets. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve immediately with your choice of sides.

Notes

  • You can also cook the salmon in a grill pan or bake it in the oven if grilling is not available.
  • Pair the salmon with steamed broccoli or pasta to complete the meal.
