Description

Ingredients
For the Beef:
- 1 lb beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain
 - 2 tbsp soy sauce
 - 1 tbsp olive oil (or sesame oil for extra flavor)
 
For the Brussels Sprouts:
- 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
 - 3 tbsp pure maple syrup
 - 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
 - ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
 - Salt & black pepper, to taste
 - 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
 
Instructions
- Marinate the Beef: Toss beef slices with soy sauce in a bowl. Let marinate while prepping vegetables.
 - Sear Beef: Heat olive oil in a skillet. Sear beef strips in batches until browned. Set aside.
 - Caramelize Brussels Sprouts: In the same skillet, cook Brussels sprouts cut-side down until caramelized. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
 - Make the Glaze: Stir in maple syrup, balsamic vinegar, and red pepper flakes. Let the glaze thicken slightly.
 - Combine and Serve: Return beef to skillet, toss everything together until heated through. Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with parsley.
