Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) to ensure it reaches the perfect temperature for baking the feta.
- Prepare Feta: Place the 8 oz block of feta cheese in a small baking dish, making sure it fits snugly and will bake evenly.
- Make Harissa-Honey Mixture: In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, harissa paste, and honey until well combined, creating a spicy-sweet sauce.
- Coat Feta: Spoon the harissa and honey mixture evenly over the top of the feta, allowing the flavors to infuse during baking.
- Bake: Place the baking dish in the oven and bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the feta is soft, melty, and lightly golden on top.
- Add Toppings: Remove the feta from the oven and immediately sprinkle with fresh lemon zest, chopped pistachios, chopped parsley, and freshly cracked black pepper to enhance flavor and texture.
