Flavor & Binding
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder or coconut flakes
- 1 tbsp peanut butter (optional)
- 1 tbsp water (if needed)
Instructions
- Prepare Ingredients: Gather all ingredients and ensure the dates are pitted for smooth blending.
- Blend Ingredients: Add the dates, nuts, cocoa powder or coconut flakes, peanut butter (if using), and water (if needed) into a food processor. Blend until the mixture becomes sticky and well combined.
- Form Balls: Scoop the mixture and roll into small, bite-sized balls using your hands.
- Chill: Place the rolled balls in the refrigerator and chill for 20–30 minutes to firm up before serving.
Notes
- For added texture and flavor, roll the energy balls in shredded coconut or extra cocoa powder before chilling.
- Store the energy balls in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week.
- If the mixture is too dry, add a little more water or peanut butter to help it bind.
