Description

Delicious and naturally sweet energy balls made with wholesome dates and nuts. These no-bake snacks are easy to prepare and provide a healthy boost of energy, perfect for on-the-go or as a quick treat.

Ingredients

Base Ingredients

  • 1 cup pitted dates
  • ½ cup nuts (almonds, walnuts, or cashews)

Flavor & Binding

  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder or coconut flakes
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter (optional)
  • 1 tbsp water (if needed)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Gather all ingredients and ensure the dates are pitted for smooth blending.
  2. Blend Ingredients: Add the dates, nuts, cocoa powder or coconut flakes, peanut butter (if using), and water (if needed) into a food processor. Blend until the mixture becomes sticky and well combined.
  3. Form Balls: Scoop the mixture and roll into small, bite-sized balls using your hands.
  4. Chill: Place the rolled balls in the refrigerator and chill for 20–30 minutes to firm up before serving.

Notes

  • For added texture and flavor, roll the energy balls in shredded coconut or extra cocoa powder before chilling.
  • Store the energy balls in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week.
  • If the mixture is too dry, add a little more water or peanut butter to help it bind.
  • These energy balls are perfect for a quick snack or pre/post-workout fuel.
