Description

Warm, cheesy ham and Swiss sliders baked on soft rolls with a buttery mustard topping. These crowd-pleasing sandwiches are perfect for parties, game days, and easy family meals.

Ingredients

Sandwiches

  • 12 slider rolls
  • 12 slices deli ham
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese

Topping

  • ¼ cup butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp poppy seeds
  • ½ tsp onion powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure it reaches the proper temperature for baking the sliders.
  2. Prepare the rolls: Slice the slider rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom halves evenly in a baking dish to form the base of the sliders.
  3. Layer the fillings: Evenly distribute the deli ham over the bottom halves of the rolls, then layer Swiss cheese slices on top of the ham to build the sandwich.
  4. Add the tops: Place the top halves of the slider rolls over the layered ham and cheese to complete the sandwiches.
  5. Make the topping: In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, poppy seeds, and onion powder until well combined.
  6. Brush the topping: Generously brush the butter mixture over the tops of the assembled slider rolls to impart flavor and help them brown.
  7. Bake covered: Cover the baking dish with foil to keep the moisture in and bake for 15 minutes to heat through and melt the cheese.
  8. Bake uncovered: Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes to brown the tops and give the sliders a golden, appetizing finish.
  9. Serve: Slice the sliders apart and serve warm for the best texture and flavor experience.
