Description

A refreshing frozen treat made with creamy yogurt, rich chocolate, and your favorite toppings. This easy and healthy chocolate frozen yogurt bark is perfect as a cool snack or dessert, combining smooth yogurt sweetness with decadent chocolate and crunchy toppings.

Ingredients

Base

  • 2 cups yogurt (Greek or regular)
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup

Chocolate Drizzle

  • ½ cup melted chocolate

Optional Toppings

  • Berries (such as raspberries, blueberries)
  • Nuts (such as almonds, walnuts, or pecans)
  • Granola
  • Coconut flakes

Instructions

  1. Prepare the tray: Line a baking tray with parchment paper to prevent sticking and make it easy to remove the frozen bark.
  2. Mix yogurt and sweetener: In a medium bowl, combine 2 cups of yogurt with 2 tablespoons of honey or maple syrup, mixing well until smooth and evenly sweetened.
  3. Spread the yogurt: Pour the yogurt mixture onto the lined baking tray, spreading it evenly to create a flat layer about ¼ inch thick.
  4. Drizzle chocolate: Melt ½ cup of chocolate until smooth and drizzle it evenly over the surface of the yogurt layer using a spoon or fork.
  5. Add toppings: Sprinkle your choice of optional toppings such as fresh berries, nuts, granola, or coconut flakes over the chocolate and yogurt surface.
  6. Freeze: Place the tray in the freezer and freeze for 2 to 3 hours or until the yogurt bark is firm and fully set.
  7. Serve: Once firm, break the yogurt bark into 6 to 8 pieces and serve immediately while still frozen for a refreshing treat.

Notes

  • Store leftover bark in an airtight container in the freezer and consume within a few days for optimal freshness.
  • Dark chocolate is recommended for a richer, more intense chocolate flavor.
  • You can customize toppings based on preference—for example, dried fruit or seeds work well too.
  • Ensure yogurt is thick (Greek yogurt preferred) to hold the bark texture better.
