Description

Tender chicken and mushrooms tossed in a rich creamy garlic-Parmesan sauce with pasta.


Ingredients

Pasta:

  • 1 lb pasta (penne or fettuccine)

Chicken:

  • 2 chicken breasts, sliced

Mushrooms:

  • 2 cups mushrooms, sliced

Sauce:

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup cream
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Salt & pepper, to taste


Instructions

  1. Cook Pasta: Boil pasta according to package instructions, then drain and reserve some pasta water.
  2. Sauté Chicken: In a skillet, cook chicken slices in butter until golden brown; set aside.
  3. Cook Mushrooms and Garlic: In the same skillet, sauté mushrooms and garlic until tender.
  4. Make the Sauce: Pour in cream, add Parmesan, and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Combine Ingredients: Toss cooked pasta and chicken into the sauce, adjusting consistency with reserved pasta water as needed.
