Description

Chocolate Peanut Butter Nice Cream is a creamy, dairy-free frozen dessert made by blending frozen bananas with cocoa powder and peanut butter. This naturally sweet treat delivers a rich, ice cream-like texture without any added sugar or dairy, making it a healthy, vegan-friendly option for a guilt-free indulgence.

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, sliced and frozen
  • 2 tbsp natural peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2–4 tbsp milk (almond, oat, or dairy)
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare Bananas: Add the frozen banana slices to a high-powered blender or food processor. Blend until the mixture turns crumbly, scraping down the sides as needed to ensure even blending.
  2. Add Remaining Ingredients: Incorporate the peanut butter, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, salt, and 2 tablespoons of your chosen milk into the blender.
  3. Blend to Creamy Texture: Blend all the ingredients together until smooth and creamy, adding more milk up to 4 tablespoons as needed to achieve the desired consistency.
  4. Serve or Freeze: Serve immediately for a soft-serve ice cream texture, or transfer to a container and freeze for 1–2 hours for firmer scoops.

Notes

  • Use very ripe bananas for the best natural sweetness.
  • For added texture, mix in chocolate chips or cacao nibs.
  • This nice cream is best enjoyed fresh; if you have leftovers, refreeze and reblend before serving.
  • Peanut butter can be substituted with almond or cashew butter for a different flavor.
