Description

Classic Oreo cookies coated in rich, smooth melted chocolate to create an easy and delicious no-bake treat that’s perfect for parties, gifting, or a simple indulgence at home.

Ingredients

Cookies

  • 20 Oreo cookies

Chocolate Coating

  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips or melting chocolate (milk, dark, or white)
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, for smoother chocolate)

Instructions

  1. Melt the chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and coconut oil. Heat in 30-second increments, stirring well after each interval, until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.
  2. Dip the Oreos: Holding one Oreo at a time, dip it into the melted chocolate using a fork or dipping tool, ensuring the cookie is completely coated in chocolate.
  3. Drain excess chocolate: Lift the coated Oreo out of the chocolate and gently tap or shake to let excess chocolate drip off back into the bowl for an even coating.
  4. Place on tray: Set the dipped Oreos on a parchment paper-lined baking tray to prevent sticking and to catch any drips.
  5. Chill to set: Refrigerate the tray for about 15-20 minutes, or until the chocolate coating is fully hardened and set.

Notes

  • You can use white, milk, or dark chocolate chips depending on your preference.
  • Add sprinkles or crushed nuts on top before chilling for added decoration and texture.
  • For best results, use high-quality chocolate for a smoother finish and better taste.
