Cherry Syrup
- 1½ cups cherries, pitted
- ¼ cup sugar or honey
- 2 cups water
Flavoring and Garnish
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups ice cubes
- Fresh cherries and lemon slices, for garnish
Instructions
- Brew the Tea: Bring 2 cups of water to a boil and steep the black tea bags for 5 minutes to extract a rich tea base. Remove the tea bags carefully and set aside to cool.
- Prepare Cherry Syrup: In a saucepan, combine the pitted cherries, sugar or honey, and the remaining 2 cups of water. Simmer the mixture over medium heat for 10 minutes, gently mashing the cherries occasionally to release their juices.

- Combine Tea and Syrup: Stir the cooled cherry syrup and vanilla extract into the brewed tea, blending the flavors to create a harmonious cherry pie taste.
- Serve: Fill glasses with ice cubes, pour the cherry pie iced tea over the ice, and garnish with fresh cherries and lemon slices for an attractive and tasty presentation.
