Ingredients
Meat and Vegetables
- 1 lb ground beef
 - 1 small onion, diced
 - 2 cloves garlic, minced

Beans and Tomatoes
- 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained
 - 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained
 - 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes

Seasonings
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
 - 1 tbsp chili powder
 - 1 tsp cumin
 - Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions
- Brown the Meat: In a pot, cook the ground beef with diced onion and minced garlic over medium heat until the beef is fully browned and the onion is soft. Drain excess fat to reduce grease.
 - Add Seasonings: Stir in the tomato paste, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper thoroughly to coat the beef and aromatize the mixture.
 - Simmer the Chili: Add the drained kidney beans, black beans, and diced tomatoes to the pot. Stir well, bring to a simmer, and cook uncovered for 20–25 minutes to blend the flavors and thicken the chili.
 - Adjust and Serve: Taste the chili and adjust seasoning with additional salt and pepper if necessary. Serve hot, optionally garnished with sour cream, cheese, or fresh cilantro.

Notes
- Garnish with sour cream, cheese, or cilantro for added flavor and creaminess.
