Sauce
- 3 tbsp butter
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp fresh thyme
- Salt & pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) to ensure it’s hot and ready for roasting the mushrooms evenly.
- Brown Butter and Infuse Aromatics: In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and cook it until it turns a nutty brown color, then add the minced garlic and fresh thyme to infuse their flavors into the browned butter.
- Toss Mushrooms: Place the mushrooms in the skillet with the browned butter sauce and toss them well to coat each mushroom thoroughly with the flavorful mixture.
- Roast Mushrooms: Transfer the coated mushrooms onto a baking sheet, spreading them out evenly, and roast in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes until they are caramelized and tender.
- Final Toss and Serve: Remove the mushrooms from the oven and give them a gentle toss to redistribute the sauce before serving hot as a side dish.
