Description

Oreo Peanut Butter Pie is a rich and decadent dessert that combines a crunchy Oreo crust with a creamy, peanut butter filling, topped with whipped cream and more Oreos for a deliciously indulgent treat.

Ingredients

  • For the crust:
  • 24 Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • For the filling:
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
  • For the topping:
  • 1/2 cup whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
  • 46 additional Oreos, crushed (for garnish)
  • Chocolate syrup (optional, for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. For the crust: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, mix the crushed Oreos with the melted butter until fully combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of a pie dish, making sure it’s even. Bake for 8 minutes, then remove from the oven and allow to cool completely.
  2. For the filling: In a large mixing bowl, beat together peanut butter, cream cheese, powdered sugar, heavy cream, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Fold in the whipped topping.
  3. Spread the peanut butter mixture evenly over the cooled Oreo crust.
  4. For the topping: Spread the whipped topping over the peanut butter filling, smoothing it out into an even layer.
  5. Crush the remaining Oreos and sprinkle them over the top of the pie. Drizzle with chocolate syrup if desired.
  6. Chill the pie in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to let the filling set.
  7. Slice and serve cold. Enjoy this indulgent dessert!

Notes

  • If you prefer a firmer pie, you can freeze it for a few hours before serving.
  • To make it extra decadent, drizzle some caramel or chocolate sauce on top before serving.
  • Feel free to add chopped peanuts or mini chocolate chips to the filling for added texture and flavor.
