Description

These No-Bake Strawberry Chocolate Dessert Bars are a delicious and easy treat made with layers of crushed cookies, creamy chocolate, and fresh strawberries. Perfect for summer or when you want a quick, crowd-pleasing dessert without turning on the oven.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups crushed chocolate cookies (like Oreos, without filling)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups sliced fresh strawberries
  • 1 tbsp sugar (optional, for sweetening strawberries)
  • 1/4 cup white chocolate chips (optional, for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix crushed chocolate cookies with melted butter until well combined.
  2. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of an 8×8-inch pan lined with parchment paper to form the crust. Chill in the fridge for 20 minutes.
  3. In a small saucepan or microwave-safe bowl, heat the heavy cream until just simmering. Pour over semi-sweet chocolate chips and let sit for 2 minutes.
  4. Stir until smooth, then add vanilla extract. Let cool slightly.
  5. Pour the chocolate mixture over the chilled crust and spread evenly.
  6. Arrange sliced strawberries over the chocolate layer. If desired, sprinkle with sugar for extra sweetness.
  7. Optional: Melt white chocolate chips and drizzle over the top for decoration.
  8. Chill the bars in the fridge for at least 2 hours, or until set.
  9. Slice into squares and serve cold.

Notes

  • Use ripe, firm strawberries for best results.
  • Store bars in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • You can swap strawberries with raspberries or a mix of berries.
