Description
Sweet and salty delight with crunchy ridged potato chips, creamy peanut butter, and a rich chocolate topping in easy no-bake bars perfect for a quick dessert or snack.
Ingredients
Main Ingredients
- 2 cups crushed ridged potato chips
 - 1 cup creamy peanut butter
 - ½ cup honey or light corn syrup

Topping
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
 - 1 tbsp coconut oil (optional)

Instructions
- Prepare the pan: Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper to prevent sticking and make it easier to remove the bars later.
 - Warm peanut butter mixture: In a microwave-safe bowl, warm the peanut butter and honey or light corn syrup gently for about 30 seconds. Stir until smooth and well combined to create a sticky binder for the chips.
 - Combine with chips: Fold the crushed potato chips into the peanut butter mixture carefully to maintain some chip texture, then press the mixture firmly and evenly into the prepared pan.
 - Melt chocolate topping: In a separate bowl, melt the semisweet chocolate chips with the coconut oil (if using) either in the microwave in short bursts or over a double boiler until smooth and glossy.
 - Apply chocolate layer: Spread the melted chocolate evenly over the pressed chip mixture in the pan to create a rich, decadent topping.
 - Chill & set: Place the pan in the refrigerator and chill for at least 1 hour to allow the bars to firm up completely. Once chilled, cut into approximately 16 squares and serve.

Notes
- Crush potato chips coarsely to retain crunchy texture in the bars.
 - The bars can be stored refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
 - Optional coconut oil in the chocolate helps create a smoother, glossier topping but can be omitted.
 - Use ridged chips for extra crunch and better adherence in the bars.
