Description

Ingredients

Chicken:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)

Seasonings:

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika

Sauce:

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup sun-dried tomatoes (drained and chopped)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh basil, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Season chicken: Season chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Sear chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  3. Prepare sauce: In the same skillet, sauté garlic for 1 minute. Add sun-dried tomatoes, chicken broth, heavy cream, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Stir to combine.
  4. Simmer: Bring sauce to a gentle simmer. Return chicken to skillet and spoon sauce over top.
  5. Cook: Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 10–15 minutes until chicken is fully cooked (internal temp 165°F / 74°C).
  6. Garnish and serve: Garnish with fresh basil and serve over pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes.

Notes

  • For extra richness, add a splash of white wine when deglazing the pan.
