Ingredients
Bread:
- 8 slices bread
Fruit Jam:
- 1/2 cup fruit jam (strawberry, raspberry, etc.)
Cream Cheese:
- 1/4 cup cream cheese (optional)
Egg Mixture:
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
Instructions
- Spread Jam and Cream Cheese: Spread jam and cream cheese between two bread slices.
- Dip in Egg Mixture: Dip the filled bread in the egg mixture.
- Cook in Skillet: Cook the stuffed toast in a skillet until golden brown on both sides.
- Dust with Powdered Sugar: Dust the French toast with powdered sugar before serving.
