Ingredients
Meat
- 1 lb beef stew meat
 
Vegetables
- 3 potatoes, cubed
 - 2 carrots, sliced
 - 1 onion, chopped
 
Liquids & Seasonings
- 4 cups beef broth
 - 1 teaspoon salt
 - ½ teaspoon pepper
 
Instructions
- Prepare Ingredients: Chop the potatoes into cubes, slice the carrots, and chop the onion to get all the vegetables ready for the soup.
 - Add Ingredients to Instant Pot: Place the beef stew meat, cubed potatoes, sliced carrots, chopped onion, beef broth, salt, and pepper directly into the Instant Pot pot.
 - Cook under Pressure: Secure the Instant Pot lid and set it to cook on high pressure for 30 minutes to tenderize the beef and develop the flavors.
 - Release Pressure and Serve: After cooking, perform a quick release of the pressure valve, carefully open the lid, stir the soup well to combine the ingredients, then serve hot.
 
Notes
- Add cabbage or celery to increase the vegetable variety and nutritional content.
 - You can adjust the seasoning to taste, adding herbs like thyme or bay leaves for extra flavor.
 - For a thicker soup, mash some of the potatoes in the pot before serving.
