Ingredients
For the Chicken:
- 1½ lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp cumin
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
For the Hot Honey Sauce:
- ¼ cup honey
- 1–2 tsp chili flakes
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
- 1 tbsp butter or olive oil
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- Optional: pinch of cayenne
For Garnish:
- ½ cup crumbled feta cheese
- Fresh parsley or mint
- Lemon zest or juice
- Optional: sesame seeds or chili flakes
Instructions
- Pat chicken dry. In a bowl, toss with olive oil, lemon juice, and seasonings. Marinate 10–15 minutes.
- Cook chicken on stovetop (5–6 minutes per side) or bake at 400°F (20–25 minutes).
- In a small saucepan, heat honey, chili flakes, vinegar, butter/oil, and garlic for 2–3 minutes.
- Pour sauce over chicken. Top with feta and let sit briefly. Garnish with herbs and lemon.
- Serve with your favorite sides.
