Ingredients

For the Chicken:

  • lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

For the Hot Honey Sauce:

  • ¼ cup honey
  • 12 tsp chili flakes
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp butter or olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • Optional: pinch of cayenne

For Garnish:

  • ½ cup crumbled feta cheese
  • Fresh parsley or mint
  • Lemon zest or juice
  • Optional: sesame seeds or chili flakes

Instructions

  1. Pat chicken dry. In a bowl, toss with olive oil, lemon juice, and seasonings. Marinate 10–15 minutes.
  2. Cook chicken on stovetop (5–6 minutes per side) or bake at 400°F (20–25 minutes).
  3. In a small saucepan, heat honey, chili flakes, vinegar, butter/oil, and garlic for 2–3 minutes.
  4. Pour sauce over chicken. Top with feta and let sit briefly. Garnish with herbs and lemon.
