Description

Frozen Pizza Burgers combine two beloved weeknight favorites: juicy, seasoned beef burgers and mini frozen pizzas. Each pizza crust is topped with a flavorful burger patty, luscious pizza sauce, melted mozzarella, and mini pepperoni, then baked to perfection for a delicious and fun meal that’s easy to prepare in just 30 minutes.

Ingredients

Frozen Pizza Burgers

  • 4 frozen mini pizzas (or halved personal pizza crusts)
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup mini pepperoni slices

Instructions

  1. Prepare the burger patties: In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with garlic powder. Shape the mixture evenly into 4 burger patties.
  2. Cook the patties: Grill or pan-cook the patties over medium heat until they reach your desired doneness, approximately 4-5 minutes per side for medium. Ensure they are cooked through.
  3. Bake the frozen pizzas: Preheat your oven and bake the frozen mini pizzas according to the package instructions, typically 10-12 minutes, until the crust is crisp and cheese begins to bubble.
  4. Assemble the pizza burgers: Remove the baked pizzas from the oven. On each pizza, place a cooked burger patty, then spoon half a tablespoon of pizza sauce over the patty. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella evenly on top, and finish with mini pepperoni slices.
  5. Melt the cheese: Return the assembled pizzas with burgers to the oven for about 5 minutes, or until the mozzarella melts and becomes gooey.

Notes

  • For a meat-free version, substitute the ground beef patties with veggie burgers.
  • Feel free to add additional toppings like sliced olives, mushrooms, or bell peppers according to taste.
  • Cooking times may vary depending on your oven and burger thickness; use a meat thermometer for best results.
  • Serve hot immediately for the best gooey cheese experience.
