Ingredients
Base
- 1 loaf French bread, halved lengthwise
 - 1 tbsp olive oil
 
Sauce & Toppings
- 1 cup pizza sauce
 - 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
 - ½ cup pepperoni slices (or toppings of choice)
 - 1 tsp Italian seasoning
 
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) to ensure it’s hot enough for a crispy crust.
 - Toast Bread: Brush both halves of the French bread with olive oil. Place them cut side up on a baking sheet and bake for 5 minutes until slightly toasted.
 - Prepare Pizza Base: Remove the toasted bread from the oven. Spread pizza sauce evenly over each half to cover the surface.
 - Add Toppings: Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce, then evenly distribute the pepperoni slices or your choice of toppings.
 - Season: Lightly sprinkle Italian seasoning over the toppings to enhance the flavor.
 - Bake: Return the prepared French bread pizzas to the oven and bake for 8–10 minutes until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and slightly golden.
