Description

This Easy Peanut Butter Fudge is a creamy, melt-in-your-mouth treat made with just a few pantry staples. It’s quick to prepare, rich in peanut butter flavor, and perfect for holidays, gifts, or a nostalgic sweet fix.

Ingredients

1/2 cup unsalted butter

1/2 cup milk

2 cups packed light brown sugar

3/4 cup creamy peanut butter

1 tsp pure vanilla extract (optional)

3 1/2 cups sifted confectioners’ sugar

Instructions

  1. Line an 8-inch or 9-inch square pan with foil or parchment paper.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter, then stir in the milk and brown sugar.
  3. Bring the mixture to a full boil and let it bubble for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Remove from heat and quickly stir in the peanut butter and vanilla until smooth.
  5. Let the mixture cool slightly for 5–10 minutes, then beat in the sifted confectioners’ sugar until smooth.
  6. Press the fudge into the prepared pan, smooth the top, and chill in the fridge for at least 4 hours until firm.
  7. Once set, lift the fudge out, cut into squares, and serve.

Notes

  • Use chocolate chips or chopped nuts for texture.
  • Crunchy peanut butter adds a nutty bite.
  • Marshmallow fluff or melted chocolate can be swirled in before chilling.
  • Store at room temperature for 2 weeks or freeze for up to 3 months.
  • Thaw frozen fudge in the fridge to retain texture.
