- 8 oz sliced mushrooms
- ½ small onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 ½ cups beef broth

Instructions
- Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, mix ground beef, diced onion, egg, breadcrumbs, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Form Steaks: Shape the mixture into 4 evenly sized hamburger steaks, ensuring they hold together well.
- Brown Steaks: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and brown the steaks for 3 to 4 minutes on each side until a crust forms. Remove them from the skillet and set aside.

- Sauté Garlic: Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute to release its aroma.
- Make Roux: Sprinkle flour over the vegetables and stir continuously for 1 to 2 minutes to cook the flour and form a roux.
- Add Liquids: Gradually whisk in the beef broth and cream, stirring until the mixture is smooth and thickened into a creamy gravy.
- Simmer Steaks: Return the hamburger steaks to the skillet, cover, and simmer gently for 10 minutes or until the steaks are cooked through.
- Season & Serve: Taste the gravy and season with salt and pepper as needed before serving.
