  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Season the Roast: Generously season the chuck roast on all sides with salt, pepper, and thyme to enhance the flavor throughout the meat.
  2. Arrange in Crock Pot: Place the seasoned roast into the crock pot. Surround it evenly with the quartered onion, carrot chunks, and potato quarters to ensure all ingredients cook together.
  3. Prepare Gravy Mixture: In a separate bowl, combine the beef broth, brown gravy packet, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir well to dissolve the gravy mix completely.
  4. Add Gravy to Crock Pot: Pour the gravy mixture evenly over the roast and vegetables inside the crock pot, allowing the flavors to meld as it cooks.
