Ingredients

- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
 
Shrimp
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
 
Sauce
- 2 tbsp butter
 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
 - 1 cup heavy cream
 - ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
 - Salt, to taste
 - Pepper, to taste
 - Parsley, chopped, for garnish
 
Instructions
- Cook Pasta: Cook the fettuccine pasta according to the package directions until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of the pasta cooking water before draining the pasta.
 - Cook Shrimp: In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the peeled and deveined shrimp and cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side until they turn pink and are cooked through. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
 - Sauté Garlic: Add the minced garlic to the same skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
 - Make Alfredo Sauce: Pour the heavy cream into the skillet with the garlic and let it simmer gently for about 3 minutes to thicken slightly. Stir in the grated parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
 - Combine Ingredients: Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat with the Alfredo sauce. Add the cooked fettuccine pasta and toss everything together, adding reserved pasta water a little at a time to reach your desired sauce consistency.
 - Serve: Garnish with freshly chopped parsley, season with salt and pepper to taste, and serve the shrimp Alfredo warm.

- Add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice for brightness and enhanced flavor.
