Description

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup pepperoncini peppers, sliced (with some juice)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook for 6-7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add the sliced pepperoncini peppers (with juice) and sauté for 1-2 minutes. Add chicken broth and deglaze the pan, scraping up any browned bits. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  3. Return chicken to skillet and spoon sauce over the chicken. Let simmer for 5-7 minutes, allowing the chicken to absorb some sauce and become tender.
  4. Remove from heat, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve with your favorite side dish such as pasta, rice, or roasted vegetables.
