Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 8 oz pasta of choice (fettuccine, penne, or spaghetti)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook until golden on both sides and fully cooked through, about 5–7 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Let it simmer for 3–4 minutes to thicken slightly.
  5. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
  6. Cook pasta according to package directions, then drain.
  7. Slice the cooked chicken into strips and return to the skillet with the sauce. Add the pasta and toss until fully coated.
  8. Garnish with parsley if desired, and serve immediately.
