Description

Ingredients

Pasta:

  • 12 oz fettuccine or penne pasta

Chicken:

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

Sauce:

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese (plus extra for topping)
  • ½ cup fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Cook Pasta: Cook pasta until al dente, drain, and set aside.
  2. Cook Chicken: Season chicken and cook until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  3. Make Sauce: Sauté garlic in butter, whisk in flour, then slowly add chicken broth and heavy cream. Simmer until thickened.
  4. Add Cheese: Stir in Parmesan cheese until smooth.
  5. Combine: Return chicken to skillet, add pasta, and toss until coated in sauce.
  6. Garnish: Garnish with parsley and extra Parmesan before serving.
