Description

Ingredients

  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Optional: 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Optional: fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, salt, and pepper. Add garlic powder if using.
  3. Spread the chicken mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine crushed Ritz crackers with melted butter until evenly coated.
  5. Sprinkle the cracker mixture evenly over the chicken layer.
  6. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, or until hot and bubbly with a golden-brown topping.
