Description

This creamy chicken Ritz casserole is a comforting, family-favorite dish made with tender chicken, a creamy sauce, and a buttery Ritz cracker topping—easy weeknight dinner perfection.


Ingredients

Shredded Chicken Mixture:

  • 4 cups cooked chicken, shredded (rotisserie works great)
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)

Ritz Cracker Topping:

  • 1 sleeve Ritz crackers, crushed
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted

Garnish:

  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Stir in shredded cheese if using.
  3. Spread mixture evenly into prepared baking dish.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine crushed Ritz crackers with melted butter. Sprinkle evenly over the top.
  5. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, until topping is golden brown and casserole is bubbly.
  6. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
