Ingredients

Salmon Fillets:

  • 4 salmon fillets (skin on)

Seasoning:

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • Salt, to taste

Honey Butter Sauce:

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon halal soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Juice of ½ lemon

Garnish:

  • Fresh parsley, chopped
  • Lemon wedges
  • Black sesame seeds (optional)


Instructions

  1. Pat dry salmon: Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
  2. Season salmon: Rub each fillet with olive oil and season with Cajun seasoning and salt.
  3. Sear salmon: Sear fillets in a skillet, skin-side up, then flip and cook until done.
  4. Make honey butter sauce: Melt butter, add honey, soy sauce, garlic, and lemon juice. Pour over salmon.
  5. Finish and serve: Garnish with parsley, lemon, and sesame seeds. Serve hot.
