This creamy and spicy Buffalo Chicken Dip is the ultimate crowd-pleaser for game days, parties, or casual gatherings. Loaded with shredded chicken, hot sauce, cheese, and ranch or blue cheese dressing, it’s baked until bubbly and golden.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked and shredded chicken
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup hot sauce (such as Frank’s RedHot)
- 1/2 cup ranch dressing or blue cheese dressing
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese (optional)
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp chopped green onions (optional, for garnish)
- Tortilla chips, crackers, or celery sticks for serving
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, hot sauce, and ranch or blue cheese dressing until smooth.
- Stir in shredded chicken, garlic powder, and half of the shredded cheddar cheese.
- Spread mixture evenly into a baking dish (8×8 inch or similar size).
- Top with the remaining cheddar cheese and crumbled blue cheese, if using.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.
- Remove from oven and garnish with chopped green onions.
- Serve warm with chips, crackers, or celery sticks.
Notes
- You can use rotisserie chicken for convenience.
- Adjust the amount of hot sauce to your spice preference.
- This dip can also be made in a slow cooker on low for 2–3 hours.
