Description

These Big Mac Sliders are mini burgers that capture the iconic flavors of the classic Big Mac. Layered with a special Big Mac sauce, melted American cheese, crisp shredded lettuce, and tangy pickles, all sandwiched between soft buttery slider buns. Perfect for serving as an appetizer or fun main course, these bite-sized burgers bring fast-food magic right to your kitchen.

Ingredients

Slider Patties

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper

Slider Assembly

  • 12 slider buns
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • ¼ cup chopped pickles
  • 6 slices American cheese
  • 2 Tbsp melted butter (for brushing tops)

Big Mac Sauce

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp French dressing
  • 1 Tbsp sweet pickle relish
  • 1 tsp white vinegar
  • ½ tsp onion powder

Instructions

  1. Prepare Big Mac Sauce: In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, French dressing, sweet pickle relish, white vinegar, and onion powder. Mix well and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  2. Shape and Cook Patties: Divide the ground beef into 12 equal portions and shape each into thin patties about the size of the slider buns. Season both sides with salt and pepper. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook each patty for 2 to 3 minutes per side until fully cooked.
  3. Assemble Sliders: On the bottom half of each slider bun, spread a generous amount of the chilled Big Mac sauce. Add a cooked beef patty, then top with a half slice of American cheese (to make 6 slices cover 12 patties, use half slice per patty), followed by chopped pickles and shredded lettuce. Place the top bun on each slider.
  4. Butter and Melt Cheese: Brush the tops of the slider buns with melted butter. Arrange sliders on a baking sheet and place in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 5 minutes to melt the cheese and warm the buns through.
  5. Serve: Remove sliders from the oven and serve immediately while warm and melty. Optionally, add sesame seeds to tops before baking for a classic Big Mac appearance.

Notes

  • Add sesame seeds on the slider buns before baking for an authentic Big Mac look.
  • For juicier patties, avoid pressing them down while cooking.
  • Prepare Big Mac sauce a few hours ahead to deepen flavor.
  • Use fresh slider buns for best texture and flavor.
  • Serve immediately after baking for optimal melty cheese and warm sliders.
