1 (6 oz) can tomato paste

2 cups beef broth

2 tbsp chili powder

1 tsp ground cumin

1 tsp smoked paprika

½ tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)

Instructions

Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.

Add onion, bell pepper, and garlic; sauté until softened.
