Description

Mini slider rolls stuffed with seasoned ground beef, melted cheese, and classic burger toppings, baked until golden and gooey. A crowd-pleasing appetizer or easy weeknight dinner!

Ingredients

Ground Beef Mixture:

  • 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika

Slider Assembly:

  • 1 (12-count) package slider rolls (Hawaiian or dinner rolls work great)
  • 1012 slices cheddar or American cheese
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise (optional)
  • 1/4 cup ketchup (optional)
  • 2 tbsp yellow mustard (optional)
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional, for topping)
  • Pickles, lettuce, tomatoes (optional for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large skillet, cook ground beef and onion over medium-high heat until beef is browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Cook 1–2 minutes more. Remove from heat.
  4. Slice the slider rolls in half horizontally (keeping them attached). Place the bottom halves in the prepared dish.
  5. Spread mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard on the bottom layer if desired.
  6. Evenly spread the beef mixture over the rolls. Layer cheese slices on top.
  7. Place the top half of the rolls back on. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 5 minutes, until cheese is melted and tops are golden.
  9. Slice into individual sliders and serve with pickles, lettuce, or tomato if desired.

Notes

  • Great for meal prep: cook the beef mixture ahead of time and assemble before baking.
  • Use any cheese you like — pepper jack adds a spicy kick!
  • For a Big Mac–style slider, add shredded lettuce and pickles after baking.
