Warm and wholesome baked oatmeal that’s hearty, comforting, and perfect for meal prep. This easy recipe combines oats, milk, honey, and fruit into a deliciously soft, cinnamon-spiced breakfast bake.
Ingredients
Dry Ingredients
- 2 cups old-fashioned oats
 - 1 tsp baking powder
 - 1 tsp cinnamon
 - ¼ tsp salt

Wet Ingredients
- 1 ¾ cups milk
 - 1 egg
 - ¼ cup honey or maple syrup
 - 1 tsp vanilla extract

Add-ins
- 1 cup fruit (berries, bananas, or apples)

Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375 °F (190 °C) to ensure it reaches the perfect temperature for baking the oatmeal evenly.
 - Combine Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, stir together the oats, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt to evenly distribute all dry components.
 - Whisk Wet Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk the milk, egg, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract until well combined for a smooth, sweetened base.
 - Mix Wet and Dry: Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and stir gently to combine without overmixing, ensuring the oats are fully coated.
 - Add Fruit: Fold in the fruit of your choice—fresh or frozen berries, sliced bananas, or diced apples—carefully to spread the fruit evenly through the batter.
 - Prepare Baking Dish: Lightly grease a baking dish to prevent sticking and pour the oatmeal mixture into it, smoothing the top with a spatula.
 - Bake: Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the oatmeal is set and lightly golden on top.
 - Serve: Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving warm. Enjoy with additional milk or yogurt if desired.

Notes
- Serve warm with yogurt or extra milk for added creaminess.
