Description

Baked Honey Mustard Chicken is a simple, flavorful dish featuring juicy chicken breasts coated in a sweet and tangy honey mustard sauce. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or meal prep.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish or line with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together Dijon mustard, honey, olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish and brush them evenly with the honey mustard sauce.
  4. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
  5. Optional: broil for 2–3 minutes at the end to caramelize the top.
  6. Remove from oven, let rest for 5 minutes, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the honey mustard sauce for 30 minutes to 2 hours before baking.
  • Pair with roasted vegetables, rice, or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
