 - 1 tbsp butter
 
Topping
- 1 large apple, thinly sliced
 - 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar
 
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to prepare for toasting and melting the cheese.
 - Toast Bread: Spread butter on both sides of the baguette slices and place them on a baking sheet. Toast in the preheated oven for 5 minutes until lightly golden.
 - Add Toppings: Remove the toasted bread from the oven and layer each slice with thin apple slices followed by shredded sharp cheddar cheese.
 - Bake Until Melted: Return the topped crostini to the oven and bake for 8 to 10 minutes until the cheese is fully melted and slightly bubbly.
