Description
Juicy Italian-style meatballs simmered in a rich, creamy Alfredo sauce — comforting, cheesy, and perfect over pasta or rice. This hearty dish combines flavorful meatballs with a luscious Alfredo sauce, making it a satisfying main course for family dinners or special occasions.
Ingredients
Meatballs
- 1 lb ground beef or turkey
 - ¼ cup breadcrumbs
 - 1 egg
 - 2 Tbsp grated Parmesan
 - 1 tsp garlic powder
 - 1 tsp Italian seasoning
 - Salt & pepper to taste

Sauce
- 2 Tbsp butter
 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
 - 1 cup heavy cream
 - ¾ cup grated Parmesan
 - ¼ tsp black pepper

Instructions
- Prepare the Meatball Mixture: In a large bowl, combine the ground beef or turkey with breadcrumbs, egg, grated Parmesan, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated.
 - Form the Meatballs: Roll the mixture into 1-inch sized meatballs, ensuring they are evenly sized for consistent cooking.
 - Cook the Meatballs: Either bake the meatballs in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for about 15-20 minutes or pan-sear them over medium heat in a skillet until browned on all sides and cooked through, approximately 10-12 minutes.
 - Make the Alfredo Sauce: In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and sauté the minced garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant but not browned.
 - Simmer the Sauce: Add the heavy cream to the skillet and bring it to a gentle simmer. Allow it to simmer for about 3 minutes to thicken slightly.
 - Add Cheese and Season: Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and black pepper, mixing until the cheese melts smoothly into the sauce.
 - Toss Meatballs in Sauce: Add the cooked meatballs to the Alfredo sauce, gently tossing to coat them evenly. Cook together for another 1-2 minutes to let the flavors meld.

Notes
- For added color and nutrition, mix in spinach or peas when tossing meatballs in the sauce.
 - This dish pairs wonderfully with fettuccine, spaghetti, or steamed rice for a complete meal.
 - Serve with garlic bread to soak up the creamy Alfredo sauce.
 - Ground turkey is a leaner alternative to beef if you prefer a lighter version.
 - Ensure not to overcook the garlic in the sauce to avoid bitterness.
