Description

Looking for a quick and easy way to make perfect meatballs? Try Air Fryer Meatballs! These juicy and flavorful meatballs are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, all made with minimal oil in the air fryer. A healthier twist on a classic favorite, ideal for weeknight dinners, meal prep, or as an appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (or your preferred ground meat, like turkey or chicken)

  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs

  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 large egg

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano

  • 1 tsp dried basil

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for brushing)

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).

  • In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper until well combined.

  • Roll the meat mixture into 1-inch meatballs (you should have about 16-20 meatballs).

  • Lightly brush the air fryer basket with olive oil or spray with non-stick cooking spray.

  • Place the meatballs in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them.

  • Air fry at 375°F for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until meatballs are golden brown and cooked through.

  • Remove from the air fryer and serve with marinara sauce or your favorite dipping sauce

Notes

  • For added flavor, you can include chopped fresh herbs like parsley or thyme.

  • Make sure to not overcrowd the air fryer basket so the meatballs cook evenly.

  • You can freeze uncooked meatballs for future meals. Just place them in a single layer on a tray and freeze, then transfer to a ziplock bag once frozen.
