Description

Ingredients

Main Ingredients:

  • 6 slices thick bread (Texas toast or brioche works best)
  • 3 large eggs
  • ½ cup milk (or half-and-half for richness)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • Pinch of salt

For Coating:

  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Cut Bread: Cut each slice of bread into 3–4 sticks.
  2. Mix Egg Mixture: In a shallow bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 2 tablespoons sugar, and a pinch of salt.
  3. Coat Bread: Dip each bread stick into the egg mixture, coating all sides.
  4. Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease basket with cooking spray or brush with melted butter.
  5. Cook French Toast Sticks: Place sticks in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crisp.
  6. Prepare Cinnamon Sugar Coating: While cooking, mix ¼ cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon in a shallow bowl.
