Description

Crispy, juicy air fryer chicken thighs seasoned to perfection. A quick and easy weeknight dinner ready in under 30 minutes.


Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

  • ½ tsp dried thyme

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.

  • Pat chicken thighs dry with paper towels.

  • In a small bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper.

  • Rub seasoning mixture evenly over chicken thighs.

  • Place chicken thighs skin-side down in the air fryer basket in a single layer.

  • Cook for 12 minutes, flip, and cook for another 10–12 minutes until skin is crispy and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

  • Remove and rest for 5 minutes before serving

Notes

  • Boneless, skinless thighs work too—reduce cook time by about 5 minutes.

  • For extra crispiness, spray chicken lightly with cooking spray before air frying.

  • Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
